Burberry Launch New Campaign To Celebrate Their High Summer Collection
The luxury fashion house kicks off summer with a series of surprise events and hotel takeovers, celebrating its new High Summer capsule collection with a special film release.
Sun loungers, seagulls, and a yacht named ‘Check Mate’ set the scene in Burberry’s new film ‘Wish You Were Here’, a playful celebration of the collection.
Starring long-time house muse Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and British tennis star Jack Draper, the film also features models Alva Claire, Babacar N’Doye, and a few unforgettable cameos.
“In eager anticipation of summer, we wanted to capture one of the most enjoyable times of the year: Brits on holiday taking a moment away to be in the sun” - commented Chief Creative Officer Daniel Lee
He shared that the campaign was inspired by the brand’s “celluloid postcard”, a celebration of British idiosyncrasies and humour, all with a generous layer of factor 50, which were inspired by “incredible yachting and holiday images” uncovered in the Burberry archive.
